In my work, I often deal with organisms that usually go unnoticed in everyday life. They live and die in precarity and exist in complex networks of relationships, including with humans.
I give these relations form in drawings, reliefs and sculptures. Often, a work begins with something I have read or observed, which I use as a basis for developing speculations and fictions about the nature of these interrelationships through many stages of abstraction. At the same time, I write short stories and poems.
The series of works, parts of which I am showing in my diploma exhibition, was specifically inspired by dandelions, which benefit from human intervention in nature due to their adaptability. These actions by humans and plants, which are not consciously directed at each other but nevertheless exist in a network of connections, formed the basis for this series of works.
